Although not my initial career choice, I have always had a passion for good food and cooking it. Growing up in an Italian and Spanish household in New York, my house was continuously filled with good food and love. I learned to cook at a very young age from my mother and grandfather -- who also happened to be a chef in one of New York City's premier hotels, The Waldorf Astoria. My father's mother lived with us for quite some time and she taught me to never be afraid to try a recipe. She also happened to be a very good cook in her own right.
I spent my high school and college years working part-time in restaurants. Even thought my studies took me on a different career path, I could never wait to get home from work to savor a new cookbook and try a newly found recipe on my husband and friends. It was a passion that could not contain. I have traveled around the world trying new foods and collected recipes along the way.
Now as a mother of a young son, who is often running off to take him to some new extracurricular activity, I know how important and often scarce time spent at dinner table is. That is why I started this business. Not only do I love what I do, I am committed to helping other busy families possess the time they need to sit down and enjoy each other’s company while also enjoying all the benefits of eating a healthy and delicious meal together.
My company is based on the belief that my clients' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
